- Hi Hoary,
- It looks like I used the wrong source for that section, my apologies. The source for the second section is an article written about Mary Jane Ansell in American Art Collector magazine. I will make the appropriate changes and resubmit it for review. The url associated with the article is linked to Arcadia's website, but it is only to provide the pdf to read. International Art Collector magazine is in independent media company. Does that still make it an unreliable source?

Your submission at Articles for creation: Daniel Bilmes (March 19)

Please go to Draft:Daniel Bilmes, click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window, add "{{Db-g7}}" at the top of the draft text and click the blue "publish changes" button to save this edit.

- As for the sources for Daniel Bilmes, the sources provided are linked to the Arcadia website but it is only to provide the digital pdfs of the articles. American Art Collector is independent of Arcadia. American Art Collector is a subscription based magazine so people would not be able to see the articles otherwise. Should I manually put in the source without providing a link to the article? Rob at Arcadia Contemporary (talk) 16:49, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
Arcadia Contemporary, and COI
[edit]Rob, I take your word for it (in your username) that you are at Arcadia Contemporary. You have written a draft about Daniel Bilmes. The draft says that "Bilmes is currently represent by Arcadia Contemporary in New York City." You've also written a draft about Mary Jane Ansell. This page tells me that Arcadia sells her work too. Please carefully read Wikipedia's Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, particularly the material in it that's about remuneration. -- Hoary (talk) 08:36, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hoary, I understand your concern for the fact that I am associated with Arcadia. I will gladly remove "Bilmes is currently represented by Arcadia Contemporary in New York City" from his draft as well as any mention of Arcadia on Mary Jane's page. These pages are made only to provide biographical information on the clearly well established artists that we work with. Rob at Arcadia Contemporary (talk) 16:59, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
- That would be a good first step, but only a first step. I don't know what you're doing "at" Arcadia Contemporary, but whether you're salaried or an intern, it's clear from what's written in Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure that you're regarded as making paid contributions, and that you must disclose this. I'll attend to your questions after you have disclosed this. (The method of doing this is described in Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.) -- Hoary (talk) 21:45, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
- If I can also add Draft:Nick Alm to this list. Per the Arcadia Contemporary website, Nick Alm is one of the artists represented. This creates an apparent COI (as well as a possible UPE) which needs to be declared either on your own user page and/or each article's talk page. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:42, 1 April 2022 (UTC)

- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
