Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. [1][2] MrOllie (talk) 13:21, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the note. I don't add external links for promotion. All the links I'm inserting support the content of the page. I'm also editing the page to expand on the content, insert additional resources, and make the language less promotional. I'm new to Wikipedia, but I'll make sure to read all the resources you provided. I appreciate the tips and I'll do my best to follow the guidelines. I have stopped adding external links. I don’t have affiliation with the sites l’m referring to but since there are similar links as a reference, which are basically assessment quizzes, I thought we can add these types of links to support the content. Thank you for keeping a safe community, and I’ll be sure to follow the guidelines and delete any spammy links like the ones I came across while doing my first edits. Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at State shapes, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. You stopped because you started adding the links again on another account. I've referred this for blacklisting. MrOllie (talk) 18:52, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
