User talk:Robertrade
Part I
It is not necessary to take action against the contributors who use anti-adblocking scripts on their web pages.
Part II
Regarding the "AdBlock users":
There are many web sites out there that are paid subscription based such as Wall Street Journal. There are tons of Wall Street Journal links on Wikipedia.
You know, either ad-supported free web sites or paid subscription based web sites are considered as typical business model to keep them afloat.
It would not make sense to remove all links to:
Paid subscription based sites where the visitors can not view the contents without paying for it first,
NOR
Ad support sites with built-in Anti-Adblock scripts to request the visitors to disable AdBlock to allow them to view the contents.
Welcome to Wikipedia. I am not going to go through and remove your spam from every article where you have added it (it will be removed in time), but adding it to templates is going too far. Please see WP:COI Maghnus (talk) 08:59, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Hi, The template for Currate.com is the same as Yahoo, XE and Oanda. You can not remove it. It is not a conflict of interest, as I already declared it as explained in WP:COI.
To make it neutral to meet WP:COI, I will request my supporter/contributor to take care of these links for Currate.com, same as Yahoo, XE and Oanda. The information on Currate.com is very accurate. At last, many Yahoo's currency links here are broken nor not accurate. Hope this info is helpful. Please respect this, as I believe these Currate related links are very good for readers. Thanks.
Per Wiki contributor's suggestions, I removed all anti-Adblock scripts from all Currate.com web pages. He likes Currate.com web site due to it's simplicity, as well as easy and quick to use. For that, I want to apologize for all troubles I have caused for others. Robertrade (talk)
I restored Currate.com that was removed by other WIki-contributor. What he does not realize is that Currate.com has additional tools that are not available by other big 4 players, such as map (http://currate.com/map.php) and historical data (http://currate.com/historical-exchange-rates/). Please contact me if you have any issues related to Currate.com site. Thanks. Robertrade (talk)

[edit]Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --John (talk) 21:49, 25 December 2009 (UTC) Hi,
It is not spamming. If it's OK for XE.COM, Oanda, Google and Yahoo to post the exchange rates list there, Currate.com should do the same as it's treated the same as these other guys. Please show me the reason that XE.COM/Oanda.com are allowed to have the list there,, while Currate.com is not allowed. I already spoke with other Wikipedia contributor - they said it's acceptable. Please leave Currate.com link there alone. I received many positive feedback from visitors who said that they love these simple, easy to use tools.Robertrade (talk)
- If, after reading WP:COI and WP:EL, you still believe the link to your site should be added, please generate a consensus in discussion supporting this. Please do not keep adding these links as a) they will be removed and b) you will be blocked. --John (talk) 21:56, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

The file File:VoltmeterSymbol.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
orphaned image, easily recreated
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
- I have responded to the comment made on the image talk page with the following - "@Robertrade:, the reason it has been nominated for deletion is that it is orphaned (ie not being used) and it is unlikely someone will come looking for this image if they find they need a similar one, they will simply recreate it to exactly match their particular need. If you think the image has a use, please add it to an article and remove the prod tag off the image page." - Jordan 1972 (talk) 16:22, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
