Removal of redirect[edit]

Why do you want to remove the redirect? It's fine to keep it there. Dat Guy^Talk_Contribs 09:27, 19 August 2016 (UTC) Hello, Well, actually, because I did not want to create it. I wanted to create another article about another astronomer and I have confused the names. What is the use of redirections? Thank you for your help[reply]

What a redirect does is that if someone looks up the draft, he will be redirected to the mainspace because your draft got published! It's like going to the old version instead of the new version, and Wikipedia says 'Hey buddy, it's actually here now. Let me help you get there." I cannot understand what is happening. Why cannot I edit the page? I am not doing any vandalism. What does it mean that some edits appear to not be constructive? Is it about the content? I cannot understand.
