Hi all, I am partnering with the Wikimedia Foundation's pilot project "Unseen". It's aim is to help address a lack of visual representation of people of African descent, indigenous people, and people of color on Wiki and by extension the wider knowledge ecosystem. We are launching the project during the US Black History Month. Mercedes Richards is one of the six biographies chosen for the pilot and for whom artwork has been commissioned out of the same regions as the work. The works are being released under CCO. Just posting this ahead of Wednesday the 9th when we share everything in the associated articles themselves. Thanks. Shanluan (talk) 05:17, 8 February 2022 (UTC)

[edit]This image seems to have a similar issue to most of the other images; it does not meet the requirements of the MOS, and should be removed, particularly when there are better images available as there are here. BilledMammal (talk) 23:22, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
- I concur. Done This is an encyclopedia, not an art gallery. Artistic creativity is generally detrimental for our purposes. MOS:IMAGE "Images should look like what they are meant to illustrate" (i.e. photo realism). Alsee (talk) 14:12, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
