May 2013[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Biker Biker. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Anne Bremner, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Two articles edited. Both times you added external links to the same publications. Please read WP:ELNO and understand why only certain types of external link are acceptable. If you believe that the page you linked to contains information not already in the article, then why not consider adding that information and use the page as a reference? Biker Biker (talk) 09:41, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Alan Dershowitz. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Repeated addition of spam is a fast track to getting your account blocked. Please consider your actions. As what looks like a single purpose account, it would be better if you contributed to article content instead of adding external links Biker Biker (talk) 09:51, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
