Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Miesha Tate, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 05:01, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Miesha Tate. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Jim1138 (talk) 05:03, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is rather persnickety about content of wp:biographies of living persons such as Miesha Tate. Also, remember that wp:Wikipedia is anonymous. People can claim to be most anybody and it would be difficult to prove otherwise. You could be Hillary Clinton for all I know. Therefore, any content must specify a document (electronic or hardcopy) that is readily available that allows for the information to be wp:verified. Birth certificates are usually private and generally should not be made public. If there is no such source for information, it probably should not be added to the article. If you know of a website that states that you are the mother of Miesha Tate, do please add it and add a help:footnote to wp:cite your source. My apology that I could not be of more help. You could ask at the wp:Teahouse for more suggestions. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 06:29, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
