My Page(s)[edit]

I made a few new pages today! You can check them out from my User Page. Check out the Help Me Out page first please! RyGuy 14:48, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'll help![edit]

Your questions will be answered:

1. Wikipedia:Customisation explains this, but I'll try to make it simple. 1: You look for a signature you like. 2: You copy this sig's wikimarkup to the sandbox (don't save). 3: You change the links (example, from user:x's talk, to user:RyGuy's talk) 4: You click preview (not save!), to see if all the links are correct. 5: You can change minor things, such as font and wording (it uses Microsoft Word fonts). 6: You go to Special:Preferences, and copy the new sig to the box you see there. (click "Raw Signature" if you have more than one link in the sig). 7: You sign all the autograph books again (just to show off). :-)

2. 1Select an image (I'll use this one as an example). Add [[File:Bad Title Example.png|thumb|50px|(caption is optional)]] to the page. I'll explain what that means. First the name of the picture (note that not all images are .png), then thumb (this puts the image off to the side, rather than in the text), #px (you can choose the size; the larger the number, the larger the picture will be), and caption (you don't have to add it; you can see it in articles usually). I wrote 50px so the example wouldn't be too large: what I wrote looks like this:

(caption is optional)

.

3. You don't need to block your page from editing, if someone vandalises, you give him a warning. If it keeps happening, you add his username/IP to WP:AIV, and they magically stop vandalizing. ;-)

Hope that helps! Also, I only archive my page after 51 messages (archive 50, and leave the one), and your message happened to be the 51st. What a coincidence. :-) | AndonicO Talk | Sign Here 22:08, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok! That'll really help! RyGuy 11:45, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, you said we should vandalize Nupedia, why not the horrid, terrible, POV, and especially, *gasps* unencyclopedic Uncyclopedia! Here's a link to the world of nonsense: [1]. | AndonicO Talk | Sign Here 21:04, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

wikipedia user talk page header thingy[edit]

I like that, I might use it :). However you might want to put it under fair use (for user talk pages only). That's all (sorry for being rude). Happy holidays! —¡Randfan!Sign here? 20:08, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I'll see if I can do that, but you can use it if you want (after all, I made it myself) RyGuy my talk page 11:56, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
