Thank you for your warm welcome and your detailed feedback on the page I've created. I appreciate your commitment to maintaining the accuracy and quality of content on Wikipedia.
Regarding your concerns about the notability of the page and its potential classification as an advertisement, I would like to clarify a few points:
Notability: The subject of this page, Sacha Vandermeersch, has notable achievements in his field, particularly in business development, investment portfolio management, and as a general partner at notable firms such as Greenrock and GOVRN. His accomplishments and influence in these areas demonstrate a level of notability that qualifies him for a Wikipedia page.
Independence of Sources: I acknowledge the importance of using reliable, independent sources to corroborate information. The information on the page can be supported by reputable media publications, business listings, and professional networks. I will ensure that appropriate references are included in the article to verify the accuracy of the content.
Non-Promotional Content: While the page includes details of Vandermeersch's professional affiliations and roles, its intent is not to promote these organizations but rather to provide comprehensive, factual information about his career and contributions. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged โ€“ please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Acroterion (talk) 02:01, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Acroterion,
Thank you for your response and guidance regarding the creation of a Wikipedia page. I understand the concerns you've outlined and the importance of upholding Wikipedia's guidelines on autobiographies and articles about living people.
I'd like to clarify that my intent is not to promote myself, but to contribute valuable, verifiable content that can inspire and educate a new generation of entrepreneurs. The work and achievements of myself, as well as others in the entrepreneurship field, can provide crucial insights and lessons for those aspiring to create change in their own communities and beyond.
I completely agree with the principle that any content must be verifiable and notable. I believe that the achievements highlighted in the article meet these criteria, and I will ensure that all content is supported by independent, reliable sources. I also respect and adhere to the guidelines stating that changes about living people should ideally be made by independent editors.
In line with your advice, I welcome the idea of proposing changes to the talk page first, to ensure transparency and allow community input. I'm committed to working collaboratively with other Wikipedia editors to create content that upholds the principles and standards of the platform.
My objective aligns with Wikipedia's mission to provide free and accessible knowledge to the public. By sharing the journey of entrepreneurship, we can inspire and equip future innovators to create positive change in their fields.
Thank you again for your guidance. I look forward to contributing to this community in a constructive and respectful manner.

It would be a better start for you to retract your badgering of other editors for tagging your self-promotional article for deletion. It was entirely within policy for them to do so. Wikipedia is not a free webhost for autobiographies or personal promotion. You have a conflict of interest in this, and should not be writing about yourself. Acroterion (talk) 02:16, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
To add to what @Acroterion already stated, please donโ€™t leave messages in other users talk pages complaining about other users removing your promotional content. Comments like

it clearly means you didnt read it and just remove it.

are not positive, especially when you are the one violating policy. This has been explained 4 times now to you. Wikipedia is not a place for people to promote themselves or to badger other users. Take this as a final warning, but I truly hope you see the truth in what we say and understand it. 10:40, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
