If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Aquevix, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello Sahil1894. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Aquevix. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a black hat practice.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Sahil1894. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Sahil1894|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. Ian.thomson (talk) 13:37, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disclosure Regarding Aquevix

[edit]

So please allow me to edit the article namely Aquevix. Sahil1894 (talk) 04:23, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You have a conflict of interest with the article and should not write or directly edit it. If someone who does not work for the company writes an article based on sources that are unaffiliated with the company, you can request edits on the article's talk page. Ian.thomson (talk) 05:31, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

According to conflict of interest I was asked to write a disclosure. I have disclosed affiliation of my company, if any other thing needs to be done or if I had done in an incorrect manner, just tell me about the same. So that I can continue with my article. The guidelines of Wikipedia are so confusing. Secondly the thing is that I don't want anybody else to write article about my organisation. And if it is possible than tell me the correct my so that my article get published on wikipedia. Sahil1894 (talk) 05:40, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

According to our rules on paid editing and conflicts of interest, you should not write or edit the article. Also, you do not own Wikipedia's article on Aquavix, the Wikipedia community does. If you do not want someone else to write it or edit it, you should just hope that we never have an article about the company. You were told that you need to write a disclosure, which you have since erased. You were also told that because of your conflict of interest, someone else would need to write the article.
If your only purpose here is to promote your company, you should leave. We can and do block editors who are not here to build an encyclopedia, especially if they are here to promote something.
You are welcome to edit other articles. However, until someone else writes an article about Aquavix, I recommend giving up on it. Even if someone else does write an article about Aquavix, you should only make requests on the article's talk page instead of editing it directly. Ian.thomson (talk) 05:58, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You need to give up on the Aquavix article

[edit]

If you are not here to work on the encyclopedia but only here to promote the company you work for, we will block you. You've been given plenty of opportunity to change by a lot of people.

Now is the time to stop working on that and work on something else. Ian.thomson (talk) 08:02, 31 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
