References
[edit]Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Jytdog (talk) 17:25, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
Advocacy in Wikipedia
[edit]Pretty much all of your edits to date have been to Misophonia. Please read WP:SOAPBOX which is policy; please also read WP:SPA and WP:ADVOCACY which you may find helpful. Please do read all three of those. Happy to discuss if you have any questions - you can reply here. Best regards Jytdog (talk) 17:27, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
Socking
[edit]I just want to be sure you are aware of our WP:SOCK policy. If you have edited here under another account, you must disclose that. It is not a big deal if you did and you weren't aware of the policy, it can be fixed. At this point I am not saying you did do that -- I just want to be sure you are aware of the policy. Please reply here if you have any questions. Best regards Jytdog (talk) 20:13, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
- Following up on this, as you have edited since I left this note. Again - if you have edited about misophonia under other user names, you must disclose that; people who violate SOCK (undisclosed editing under multiple accounts) get indefinitely blocked; disclosing the multiple accounts and editing from only one can salvage the situation. I want to be sure you are aware of this. Jytdog (talk) 16:10, 22 October 2016 (UTC)
