Please help me with my article. I don't have any idea about referencing or citing sources. All my data is in the article, and there are some links I have to the subject's work. Are they external links or references? I am completely in over my head with this, and would appreciate any kind of help. Please.

The point is that our readers should be able to tell for each statement in the article which of the references they need to look up to confirm that claim.
