Assignment 3[edit]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_Behavior_Checklist

Hi guys, I thought this might be a good article that we could start on, what do you think? There is a few chapters that focus on behavior, specifically chapter 9. The Child Behavior Checklist is a questionnaire that is given to asses and diagnose behavioral problems. I have found a few websites that would be great resources to start with.

This is one that I found that discusses how the Child Behavioral Checklist is actually now renamed the "Achenbach System of Empirically Based Assessment" after Thomas M. Achenbach, the founder of the Child behavioral checklist (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3362998/ ). This is not even discussed in the Wikipedia article so this could be part that we include. Let me know what you guys think!

This is also another good article that could use some improving. It is about Princess Elizabeth of Bohemia, she is mentioned in chapter 2 of the book. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elisabeth_of_the_PalatinateMegan Boehm (talk) 00:47, 7 February 2018 (UTC) I think doing the princess would be interesting but worried if she would have enough information regarding psychology that we could mention. Sarah.isaacs (talk) 15:51, 5 February 2018 (UTC) Megan Boehm (talk) 00:43, 7 February 2018 (UTC)I looked up Elizabeth Scarborough and she focused on female psychologists and the history of psychology. There seems to be good content and enough articles to write a well documented page.Alyssa.wroblewski (talk) 01:00, 7 February 2018 (UTC) I think doing a female who is under appreciated in psychology would be very interesting. I tried finding information on a different person and there wasn't very much out there. If we think there is enough on Elizabeth Scarborough then I think that would be a good topic to go with.Alyssa.wroblewski (talk) 01:08, 7 February 2018 (UTC) Sarah, I like the idea for the topic of the Child Behavioral checklist, especially since it relates to research that we did the Infant Cognitive Development lab here as NDSU. I checked out the resource that you linked and it seemed like it had a lot of good information! Either this topic or the one Megan suggested I would be OK with doing. If another groups uses Elizabeth Scarborough I think using the Child Behavior Checklist would be a good place to start considering you've found multiple websites already, and its not in the Wikipedia article. Jalen Allison (talk) 01:23, 7 February 2018 (UTC) I will email Dr. Council with our two options.Megan Boehm (talk) 01:27, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your topic[edit]

I think Elizabeth Scarborough is a great choice. She does not seem to have a Wikipedia article, but there is a lot of material on her elsewhere. J.R. Council (talk) 22:10, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You messed up an article very badly[edit]

You edited the article about living science fiction and fantasy writer Elizabeth Ann Scarborough, by conflating her with another person entirely. Elizabeth is very unhappy, naturally enough, to be confused with another person (one she agrees should have an article written about her) and declared dead. Please be more careful in the future. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:00, 12 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
