Please do not use Wikipedia to promote businesses, such as you did in the article Awin. Wikipedia is not a trade directory. If you want to list a company for potential customers to find, please consider alternative outlets. Thank you. Dom from Paris (talk) 15:32, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dom, Thanks for your feedback. I'm not using Wikipedia to promote Awin, I'm trying to provide the latest information on the company so it can be listed correctly in Google. I have removed any language that is deemed 'promotional'. Sarahr23 (talk) 16:03, 12 March 2018 (UTC)Sarah[reply]

Hi Dom from Paris, I just saw that you removed all of my edits and additional information. Please can you advise how this can be added to the page so it has the latest information? I don't see how this approach is helpful. It would have been better to review what I put and then approve it, rather than simply removing it. As I meantion above, I simply want the information to be accurate so we can be listed on Google correctly. Your help in this matter would be much appreciated. Sarahr23 (talk) 16:13, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi As an employee of the company you should not really have created the page itself as it is almost impossible to have a neutral point of view, and you should not be editing it yourself which is why I reverted the edits and suggested you make the edit request on the talk page as I mentioned in the edit summary. You declared your link with the company on your user page which suggests that you were aware of wikipedia's requirements in the case of conflict of interest. Wikipedia is not a means of obtaining a listing on google for your company or for promoting it. Any contributions that you wish to make to this article should be through the edit request process Wikipedia:Edit requests and not directly into the article. I personally believe the company fails WP:NORG and notably WP:ORGDEPTH. The original sources and the sources you have added are not sufficient to show notability. This page is a serious candidate for deletion in my opinion. --Dom from Paris (talk) 16:33, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Dom, Please do not delete this page. The problem is that I'm not clued up on the Wikipedia article process. I hope you can appreciate for someone who is new to adding and editing pages, it can be confusing figuring out how to do so correctly. I'm not trying to deliberately mislead, hoodwink or deceive anyone, as I mentioned I simply wanted the page to have the correct information. In that case, I will follow the edit requests process as you have outlined. Thanks for your help Sarahr23 (talk) 16:48, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I do believe that you are acting in good faith. I am not an admin so I can't delete the page but I can nominate it for deletion as can any other editor. What you need to do is read WP:ORGDEPTH and try and suggest sources in the edit request that meet these requirements. Dom from Paris (talk) 17:32, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
