Welcome!

Hello, Saraupdates, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as PetAg, Inc., may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! The article PetAg, Inc. has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

1) The current article is extremely promotional and not NPOV. It would require a full rewrite in order to meet Wikipedia content policies.

2) The subject's notability is not established. The article does not reference any sources, and searching revealed no coverage in reliable, third-party, independent sources. The article's subject appears to fail the WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on PetAg, Inc., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. LivitEh?/What? 17:58, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

PetAg, Inc

[edit]

I put this information on the article's talk page as well, but in case it gets deleted again before you see it, I will reproduce it here.

It's not so much that you need to add educational information, it's that you need to remove promotional statements about the company. Terms such as "leading...", "innovative...", "always had a strong commitment..." etc., are all examples of peacock terms. Please read that link and then re-write the article from a neutral point of view.
A second problem that you will face is that this company does not appear to be notable. You need to find multiple, independent, reliable, third-party sources that have published content about this company. Please read WP:RS to learn what a reliable source is. None of the sources you have added to this article, such as DogTipper, According To Gus, or Oh My Dog Blog are reliable sources.
Good luck! LivitEh?/What? 18:18, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
