The reason why your picture was deleted was because it did not have a proper license associated with it. Tabercil 04:05, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

To be a bit more accurate, the picture was deleted because the "author" field of the free license simply said "self made". In order for an image to be licensed freely on Wikipedia it needs to contain full information on the photographer or rights holder, e.g. legal name, etc. This means that if you are the photographer (or otherwise hold legal rights to the photograph) you need to list your full, legal name in the author field. If this is because you are Sasha Grey herself (and if that's the case, let me take this moment to say "howdy") you should probably find a way to back up the claim that you are actually Sasha Grey, as you are no doubt aware just about any nut can claim to be anybody on the internet. How do you back that up? I'm not entirely sure, not being a celebrity of any means myself. I'd imagine that the help desk would be a good place to start, and if all else fails just put "{{helpme}}" on your talk page and someone way more knowledgeable about Wikipedia than me will be by to give you a hand.

In the meantime I'm going to switch the image in the infobox on the Sasha Grey article back to the old version. Once you get the new image re-uploaded feel free to switch it over. -- Y|yukichigai (_ramble argue ^check) 06:22, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
