Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put
{{My sandbox}}
on your userpage.Sincerely, Crtew (talk) 13:51, 23 August 2012 (UTC) (Leave me a message)
Wikilinks
[edit]Sdhuskins, you can make links by putting two brackets before and after the target term. Look at how I made "Advertising" a link on your user page. You can do this for your other interests as well. Learn more at "Help:Link" (put that into search) to gain more control over this function! Crtew (talk) 05:47, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Valentín Valdés Espinosa
[edit]Sdhuskins, There is already an article about Valentín Valdés Espinosa. Maybe there is somebody else you would be interested in? Crtew (talk) 23:29, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
What about Marco Antonio Ávila García?
[edit]Marco Antonio Ávila García worked for the El Regional de Sonora and El Diario de Sonora and was killed in May 2012. There are plenty of references on Ávila (Note: The reference links don't work in user talk but the text below outside of talk would take you to the articles. Click on edit to see the URLs.):

Notability and Infobox
[edit]For notability, why don't you look at what has happened closer to his death to other journalists as well as give this long term approach. Map some of these incidents out. Also look at the amount of violence in this area of Mexico in relationship to other areas. I'll make a note to return to the notability statement later. Fill out some of the points in the infobox that I noted with parentheses and then delete my comments. Crtew (talk) 20:38, 24 September 2012 (UTC) In terms of the long-term, you may want to actually focus on the issue of impunity. The Argentina Independent source has information on impunity. Peer Review
[edit]User Sdhuskins peer review by User Ldfeller:
1. Tell the person what you liked the most and what they're doing well.
User #6 had a lot of good information, and I could not really find any errors in grammar or spelling.
2. Then give them solid suggestions about what they can do to improve their article.
My suggestion for User 6 would be that they work on the flow of their article. I noticed that most of the sentences are kind of choppy but, other than that, I think they’re on the right track!
