Hi, I see you're not a new, but a newer editor and wanted to ensure you were aware of a widely accepted practice known as WP:BRD;

  • B - you boldly make an edit,
  • R - that edit is reverted,
  • D - you then discuss it on the article talk page, if you disagree.
