Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Dale Kickett, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page West Coast. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, SecretlyASpy92

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Zippybonzo, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, List of West Australian Football League wooden spoons, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Zippybonzo}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Ways to improve Metropolitan Football Club

[edit]

Hello, SecretlyASpy92,

Thank you for creating Metropolitan Football Club.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

It would be useful to provide more sources showing the independent notability of this club - but that's a threshold I am confident can be met.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Triptothecottage}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Grand final match-ups

[edit]

Hey there. I saw that you created List of VFL/AFL grand final match-ups, and appreciate that you've gone to a bit of effort there, but unfortunately aside from the formatting and sourcing issues, the page wasn't really necessary as a standalone list and duplicated some information from VFL/AFL premiership and grand final statistics#Most common match-ups, so I fixed the title and redirected it to that section as the more appropriate location for the information; thanks. 4TheWynne (talk contribs) 11:56, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your message on my talk page (better off just responding here), we don't need a complete list of match-ups on Wikipedia, and that particular statistic definitely doesn't need its own page; just listing the most common match-ups is sufficient. I created VFL/AFL premiership and grand final statistics as a spin-off of List of VFL/AFL premiers to contain the most important (extra) statistics from the former, so we don't then need a spin-off of a spin-off. 4TheWynne (talk contribs) 13:02, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
