Students for a Smarter Planet is a spin-off from IBM's 'Smarter Planet' initiative, a page about which can be found on Wikipedia. Although only a year old, this global organisation has already had great exposure to universities and industries worldwide, and we are creating a Wikipedia page as a result of many people wishing to learn more about Students for a Smarter Planet before it is presented on at TedX York 2011. Although our first attempt at creating a page was not properly referenced, we would like to appeal our account block so that we may create an appropriate, relevant page. I don't think you were taking notice up the page here. 'We' indicates a group. You were blocked because Wikipedia does not allow group accounts (with one or two very special exceptions). You are asking to be unblocked so that 'we' can re-create a page that has been deleted. Can you show us that you really have understood the reason for which you were blocked, and have understood the policies on notability WP:GNG and referencing WP:RS (and as well WP:SPAM and WP:COI which is about writing about yourselves or things you are closely connected with)?
