I asked for clarification at Wikipedia:Image copyright help desk#Picture of a statue. It appears questions get answered more quickly there. —Wknight94 (talk) 18:07, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Only admins can delete articles. It's up to an admin to look through the VfDs from five days ago and make a decision based on the votes whether or not articles should be deleted. There's no fixed schedule or fixed admin, it's whoever has the inclination at the time. RickK 23:09, May 4, 2005 (UTC)

Mação - Macau[edit]

Hello! Why have you redirected Mação to Macau? While Macau is a former Portuguese territory, Mação is a municipality in central Portugal. 'ç' is not 'c' and 'ã' is not 'a'. I've reverted that. Afonso Silva 12:27, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Whoops! I guess I wasn't paying attention. Thanks for fixing it, Afonso. Shane Smith 17:49, 4 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

thanks[edit]

Hi Shane, thanks for the welcome message! BTW, since you used the template of UtherSRG, the link to "my talk page" in your message to me referred to *his* talk page ;-) Rob 14:22, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Spanish to English -- Film reviews[edit]

Hi Shane! I found you on the list of translators. I have a few paragraphs of information about Argentine films, and short review excerpts (1-2 sentences) that I need translated for some articles both in existence and in the draft stage. Would you be willing to do so? If so, how should I send you the text? Thank you. --DiamondRemley39 (talk) 21:55, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Shane, could you translate an ES article to EN? It's this one. You can summarize it if you think is better. Thank you so much. --Cristina CF22 (talk) 14:02, 11 May 2021 (UTC) Cristina CF22[reply]

Can you create English articles out of Spanish articles?[edit]

I'm an active member in English Wikipedia on the Philippines article. (https://xtools.wmflabs.org/articleinfo/en.wikipedia.org/History_of_the_Philippines) and I noticed two articles in Spanish Wikipedia that should be crucially translated into English, the Spanish articles on Ramón Fabié, a Filipino who joined the Mexican revolution and Juan Fermín de San Martín the brother of Argentinian Revolutionary José de San Martín, who migrated to the Philippines. I would like to expand the information on Argentinian and Mexican diplomatic relations with the Philippines, hence I consider these articles very important, can you translate those for me? I would like to do it myself but I'm not fluent in Spanish, I am afraid I might translate it wrong.-Rene Bascos Sarabia Jr. (talk) 14:37, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
