What Wikipedia is for

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia; that is, it summarizes accepted knowledge on a broad array of topics. In particular, all content on Wikipedia is based on reliable sources (follow the link to see what that means here). I don't know anything about BC Jean, but after looking briefly at her biography here I can tell you that the reason she is the subject of an article here is that she has been written about in reliable sources (like the San Diego Union-Tribune and the Los Angeles Times) and so passes our notability guidelines. Wikipedia is not a public noticeboard, nor is it a place for people to carry on legal disputes, nor is it a place for people to host information about themselves.
