Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. April 2016

[edit]

Hi Silvairina, the external link you were adding is not acceptable in accordance to wikipedia policy. The External link should be the primary website of the article. In addition, information should be based on reliable, third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. This means that we publish the opinions only of reliable authors, and not the opinions of Wikipedians who have read and interpreted primary source material for themselves. Find sources that are independent (not from a beauty pageant site), you can use google news to look for great sources: https://news.google.com . Unreliable sources include personal web page (e.g. wordpress) or personal websites, open wikis, blogs (refer to personal and group blogs), personal pages on social networking sites (e.g, Facebook), Internet forum postings, or tweets—are largely not acceptable sources. This includes any website whose content is largely user-generated, including the Internet Movie Database (IMDB), CBDB.com, content farms, collaboratively created websites such as wikis, and so forth, with the exception of material on such sites that is labeled as originating from credentialed members of the sites' editorial staff, rather than users. Have a great weekend!----Richie Campbell (talk) 00:16, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Angelopedia spam

[edit]

Hi there, please stop spamming Wikipedia with links to angelopedia.com.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] We only care what reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy have to say about any given subject, not random blogs. I don't know how to interpret these edits other than as bad-faith spamming, since you removed a link to an established newspaper and replaced with a link to this blog. Please cut it out, and please familiarise yourself with our community guidelines on WP:SPAM. If you keep this up, the site will be added to Wikipedia's spam blacklist and your editing privileges will be interrupted. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:43, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
