Alt text[edit]

Thank you for providing new images for some loco classes. When you updated the images at GWR 5700 Class#Preservation, you left the alt= text unchanged, so it no longer matches the photographs. Please update the entries with suitable descriptions, as per MOS:ALT. You may also wish to add alt text for the new images at GWR 4575 Class#Preservation. Thank you. -- Verbarson  talkedits 19:54, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - have just edited the the 5700 page to modify the alt text to fit the new images. New to editing so I think I must have just forgotten to do that haha, thanks for notifying me Silversteellady (talk) 22:55, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That all looks good. Thank you. I must confess that I am not always good at providing alt text on images. If the alt text is blank, then browsers and screen readers use the image filename, which is usually not helpful. Perhaps I should make a New Year's resolution to get all my alt texts right! -- Verbarson  talkedits 11:33, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
