User talk:SingSong
Welcome!
Hello SingSong, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, some of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's Manual of Style, and have to be changed. Please familiarize yourself with the guidelines shown there. All edits that don't comply with these guidelines are changed to match what our MoS recommends.
There's a great page about the Manual of Style that has tips on how to effectively write new articles. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- NPOV policy
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Jon513 16:16, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
Do not remove tags
[edit]Please do not remove maintenance notices from pages, as you did with Bela Siki, unless the required changes have been made. If you are uncertain whether the page requires further work, or if you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the page's talk page before removing the notice from the page. These notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of a page. Thank you. Fabricationary 16:28, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
Please do not create multiple versions of a page to get the spelling correct, as you have done with Bela Siki and Béla Síki. I have redirected your first page, Bela Siki, to the second. If the spelling is unsatisfactory, please use the "Move page" tab at the top to move the page rather than create an entirely new page. Thanks. Fabricationary 16:38, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
Please cite sources
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Bernarda Fink, but we regretfully cannot accept original research. Please find and add a reliable citation to your recent edit so we can verify your work. Uncited information may be removed at any time. Thanks for your efforts, and happy editing! Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello SingSong! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to these articles, it would greatly help us with the current 60 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Marc Bourdeau - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Véronique Potvin - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Sharon Coste - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Jean-François Lapointe - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article Véronique Potvin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No evidence that this musician meets WP:MUSICBIO based on google searches. Not actually part of the MSO, and only trivial mentions of her appearances in and around Montreal.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Slp1 (talk) 02:21, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

Articles for deletion nomination of Marc Bourdeau
[edit]I have nominated Marc Bourdeau, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marc Bourdeau. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
