Hiya Solphusion. Search for "easter egg" at WP:EGG. It means: make your description of the link match the link. - Dan Dank55 (send/receive) 16:44, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template moves[edit]

Not sure what you're trying to do here, but I can see a couple of problems. Moving Template:Mitsubishi Motors North America timeline to Template:Mitsubishi Motors vehicles timeline (North America) doesn't seem to be improving anything, especially since the template was named for the company's North American division (see Mitsubishi Motors North America).

Much more serious is this move. "British Leyland" is the name of the company, so Leyland (British) is plain wrong.

Has there been prior discussion about this anywhere, or are you just "being bold"? Regards, --DeLarge (talk) 11:20, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Addendum: I've started a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Automobiles#Template moves to encourage wider comment, if you prefer to contribute there. --DeLarge (talk) 11:31, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Daimler timeline templates, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Daimler timeline templates has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Daimler timeline templates, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. I have reverted your edit to the Twitter article, as it was a massive change which, although bold, seriously affects the flow of the page. This revert may not remain, but I don't think we can make such drastic changes to an article such as Twitter without discussing the pros and cons before reaching consensus.

I have opened a thread on the discussion page so that editors can talk about this change and ensure it's implemented properly. Greg Tyler (tc) 21:45, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article was prodded as it isn't based on reliable sources. I deprodded. Unless it can be sourced better, the prodder will probably send it to Article for Deletion, so if you can then some rewriting based on reliable sources wouldn't go amiss. Fences&Windows

Merge template[edit]

Everything has been fixed now, but in the future, please be more careful to fill in the template parameters properly when making a merge proposal. For more information, see Help:Merging. Dancter (talk) 20:39, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
