Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Solzbie, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, visit the Teahouse, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 10:19, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Balaam Barugahara moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Balaam Barugahara. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Reading Beans (talk) 05:08, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As a follow-up, you must declare every paid editing and submit via WP:AFC. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 05:20, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The draft, its sources still does not indicate how and why this person is notable. All I see is promotional puffery. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 12:09, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Solzbie. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Sudhir Ruparelia, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Solzbie. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Solzbie|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. While you have made an attempt at declaration your declaration is not correctly executer. Please correct that. Please also obey 100% of the rules for paid editors. Eating the linked article directly appears have been done as "reputation washing" 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 10:19, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Timtrent I already made the mandatory disclosure both on my Talk Page, and the Edited page talk page in advance, before i could even start making any edits.
I was not directly paid but will eventually be compensated with time, i was contacted by Bukenya and i stated it in my Disclosure. First checked out Wikipedia terms and made own research a couple of weeks prior to the edits, and now here you are also to guide me further. I was not told what to do but made my own independent research in reference to other pages like one for Aliko Dangote checked out the nature of edits made there by more experiences editors, then came up with my draft but in reference to Sudhir Ruparelia that's all i did putting in consideration the Wikipedia guideline's sir. Where i have faulted, i am here for guidance. Solzbie 10:49, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
With respect, your declaration is incomplete. Please complete it fully. The message above advises you how to do this. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 10:55, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have done as you told me to do, but i have not been paid yet, have i not lied? or (Committed an act of lie?) @Timtrent Solzbie 11:14, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I refer you to my previous answer. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 12:38, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Timtrent, On The article talk page Using the template you provided brings this error " Incorrect template usage. Please use {{connected contributor (paid)}}
instead." Solzbie 13:18, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please deploy {{paid|user=Solzbie|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}} on your user page as advised above. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 17:30, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Izaaqnewton per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Izaaqnewton. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
