I edited an entry when I was not logged in. Is there a way to take ownership of the edit after the fact? Also is there a way to put in an edit summary after the fact? Spaceman13 14:19, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid not; changes to reattribute edits used to be made several years ago, but there haven't been any for ages (it's kind-of very low priority and the developers have better things to do). As for edit summaries, there's no way to alter an edit's edit summary, but you can make a dummy edit to the article in order to make another line in the history, and add the edit summary there (for instance, '(dummy edit) previous edit added {{prod}}' would be the sort of edit summary I'd leave if I prodded a page and forgot to leave an edit summary). --ais523 14:57, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
