Question about WP:3RR

{{helpme}}User talk:Fizz112 is adding information about Patrick's family tree on Patrick Star. I reverted his/her edit once, but he/she reverted my edit. I've tried to ask Fizz readded the info on his/her talk page, but the he/she did not respond. Should I revert the edit? Pants(T) 20:02, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Since you have reverted once, you can try reverting again I guess, (though I don't know the subject matter, the additions do seem crufty and ORish).... after that it will be a violation of 3RR of course since this is not vandalism. - TwoOars 20:09, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

If the user adds the family tree again, go to the article talk page. There is some talk about a family tree there already. - TwoOars 20:17, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Sorry im new to the whole wiki thing and i dont know how to read messages you sent me or reply. I didn't mean any offence, but i dont see why i cant add the family tree in. Fizz112 07:53, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

I understand what you did, and that's not the problem. The problem is that anyone can create a myspace account, and pretend to be anybody they want. Maybe that is Erin Fitzgerald, and maybe it isn't. Maybe it's someone trying to spread rumors that may or may not be true. The fact that there is a "maybe" means that it can't be allowed on Wikipedia. I'm sure there will be an official announcement soon. -- Elaich talk 21:13, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Page moves

Would moving Gary the Snail to Gary Star be considered a controversial move? The reason the user moved it was because "Star is his real last name. It was never officially revealed, but it can be deduced from the family tree. Patrick's last name is star, meaning his dad, Herb, would also have the last name Star. This means that HIS dad, Billy Bob, would be named Star." Pants(T) 00:12, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

You probably should have this discussion on the talk page among the editors there. Only then can you gauge the degree of controversy. JodyB talk 01:31, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Tamika and the Beast

It's a real what? I need to see some context in that article, or I'm renominating it. If it's an episode of an anime, that's fine, but it needs to say what it is. Kww 01:39, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Have You Seen This Snail

As far as I'm concerned, the article contains secondary sources and is thus acceptable. Don't accept the view of the self-appointed arbiter. The JPStalk to me 20:47, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Well, it's good that yore acknowledging that these are opinions. The danger is when opinions masquerade as something that we should abide be.

WP:FICT and the odd TV EPISODE spin-off clearly allow for episode articles. Your article contains verifiable, secondary, reliable sources. This meets policy. FICT allows for spin-off articles when the body of work is large. It is clear that this article (the only one I have checked) is acceptable. Just because it is currently missing a couple of sections does not mean that it should not exist. WP:STUB suggests that incomplete articles are better than none as they draw new editors to the project. The JPStalk to me 21:18, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

MascotGuy socks

Thanks for pointing out all of the accounts he created that I missed. I wasn't aware that was part of his MO. I've blocked all of them. Next time, I'll know to check. =) -- Gogo Dodo 06:58, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Debate?

{{helpme}} Are there any presidential debate articles I can use as an example to expand CNN-YouTube Presidential Debates. Pants(T) 16:13, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

I have found a few pages that may assist you. Here are two debate articles, one much more recent than the other: United States presidential election debates, 2004 and Lincoln-Douglas debates of 1858. Also, this article is more general in nature but you may be able to get some ideas from that. Hope this helps! --NickContact/Contribs 17:44, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

hey. Thanks for the AWESOME work you're doing on the CNN-YouTube Presidential Debates article! Also, apologies for the probably less than adequate stub I wrote. I was meaning to get back to it, but just have been busy. Although I love when you make a small contribution and walk away, and when you come back its blossomed into an actual article! ._-zro 20:17, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

WP:AIV

Thank you for making a report at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators generally only block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you. ELIMINATORJR 18:24, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

I reported him because User:Android Mouse Bot 2 made warned him of making a nonsense page today. I'll report him again when he vandalises another page. Pants(T) 18:28, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

CNN Youtube debates

The article can still be improved. You could write a section on the origin of this debate, how it was created, how the questions were chosen, who won the debate or who the public thought was most impressive (in one newspaper report i read, it was said that Hillary was the most impressive.) Hope this helps to improve the article --Agεθ020 (ΔTФC) 02:21, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. Pants(T) 02:22, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Spam Warning?

Where did I spam a page? if you can't support your warning on my talk, please remove it entirely. Thank you. ThuranX 03:00, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
