June 2007[edit]

Please do not delete content from articles on Wikipedia, as you did to Surf's Up (film). Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for test edits. Thank you. tennisman 03:36, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It may be poorly written, but if you take a look at this diff you can see why it would often be assumed that your edit was vandalism. --tennisman 03:42, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest that you expand the synopsis, including more details than what basically amounts to a preview. Take a look at a featured article movie, write it in that style. Also, you can sign your posts on talk pages so that I don't have to go through the history of the page to find you again. To do so, simply click (it's at the top of the edit window) or add four tildes (they look like this:~~~~) after your comment. Cheers! --tennisman 04:00, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, I didn't think you were trying to vandalize: One of the most basic tenets of wikipedia is assuming good faith] in others' edits. And since you haven't received this yet (there is useful information in it):

Hello, Starfig! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. You may benefit from following some of the links below, which will help you get the most out of Wikipedia. If you have any questions you can ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking or by typing four tildes "~~~~"; this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you are already loving Wikipedia you might want to consider being "adopted" by a more experienced editor or joining a WikiProject to collaborate with others in creating and improving articles of your interest. Click here for a directory of all the WikiProjects. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field. Happy editing! tennisman 04:19, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And another thing...[edit]

It is always useful to have a signature that identifies who you are and provides links to your user and talk (this page) pages. Here is mine: tennisman. If you'd like, you can take the code that follows and copy-paste it into your "preferences" (top right of your screen) under "Signature", making sure that you check off the "Raw signature" box.

[[user:starfig|<font color="Gold" face="Georgia">star</font>]][[user talk:starfig|<font color="indigo" face="Georgia">fig</font>]]

This code produces: starfig. Cheers! --tennisman 04:34, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I forgot: You can change the colors and font around: If that looks bad, go to Web_colors#X11_color_names for other colors, and refer to MS Word or your equivalent for a list of fonts. Cheers! --tennisman 04:36, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
