Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, StentGuy. I have none of the listed relations above and received absolutely no compensation for this. I struggle to see how this is advertising or promotion when it appears comparable to other medical device companies such as Boston Scientific and Abbott Laboratories. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Microport. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Claiming to move the page for the purposes of disambiguation, then using it as a redirect to your article strains WP:AGF beyond its limits. Cabayi (talk) 11:10, 31 January 2019 (UTC)

Hello - I disagree with your claim. I have carefully read Wikipedia:Disambiguation and this is a case of primary topic in case of usage. There is almost no reference to the software Microport outside of the wikipedia page from my searches and it has no references as an article itself. I was in the process of figuring out how to add the appropriate headers on that page when somebody else added it. I do not see ow this would be considered vandalism and I still struggle to see how primacy does not apply here. Thank you! StentGuy (talk) 15:53, 31 January 2019 (UTC)

As I mentioned, I have no conflict of interest based on what else you had written to me on my talk page, maybe besides publishing this page? I followed the directions on Wikipedia:Disambiguation and still fail to see objectively how this is not a case of primacy. Was hoping you can help me clear that up. Thanks. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized).
