Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Bausch & Lomb may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s and 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks for your deletion discussion work

[edit]

I'd like to thank you for the work that you have put in at deletion discussions. While I may not always agree with you, I find your reasoning clear, in your concise statements. I might suggest that you occasionally elaborate on why a particular source is reliable or not, because it helps to eliminate or sustain a given source. (Just a quibble really.) Also I would suggest that in your edit summary that you not use "vote", as Afd is not about voting. Your recommended disposal of the article, however, would make a good edit summary. If you haven't seen Wikipedia:Guide to deletion, it is worth a look. Away, since it has been less than a week, "Welcome to Wikipedia editing". --Bejnar (talk) 18:22, 13 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings, Strawberrie Fields, and welcome to Wikipedia's deletion process! Thank you for your contributions. As a newcomer, it may be helpful for you to read Wikipedia's deletion policy, and the pages describing the articles for deletion process, proposed deletion, and speedy deletion. Remember that deletion debates are not votes, and reasons matter, especially reasons relating to the central content policies of verifiability, neutral point of view, no original research, and what Wikipedia is not, and to the consensual community guidelines for biographies, corporations, music, and fiction. Also remember that deletion is not always the answer to a bad article. Feel free to drop me a line at my talk page if you have any questions. Again, welcome!Forbidden User (talk) 18:58, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, User:Forbidden User, Thanks for your welcome. Its good to learn more about how things work. Strawberrie Fields (talk) 21:55, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As a three-month old user, I feel that I should tell you something more: In Wikipedia, there are friendly editors, but there are usually more grumpy ones, and if worse bulliers and WP:High-functioning autism and Asperger's editors. Remember not to be contaminated by those editors and turn into someone like them. This cannot harm them, but degrades you. Your dignity will be hurt, however, you should avoid getting affected — this is what they want. You should be brave and stand up to them at WP:AN/I or WP:DR (two noticeboards for dispute resolutions), and maintain your WP:Civility. Others will see the difference, and those abusers will have to go away and take their sanctions.Forbidden User (talk) 17:06, 16 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I'll see how it goes. Strawberrie Fields (talk) 12:56, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
