Your changes to Cradle of Filth pages[edit]

Please do not change Cradle of Filth's genre on any page, a lot of discussion has gone into deciding what genre they are, and we have done the best we can to come to an agreement. One thing is for sure, they are not Black Metal. For more information see the talk page on the Cradle of Filth article. The Haunted Angel 00:46, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wotcha. And another thing... Thanks for your contributions, but be very careful to keep what you write NPOV - check the rules and the discussion pages if you're unsure. Album reviews are necessarily subjective, and therefore don't belong in an encyclopaedia. Also, think about what you're writing. It is absolutely ludicrous to say that Dani Filth has ever written lyrics in Old English. Here's a passage of Old English (from Beowulf):
Hwæt! We Gardena in geardagum,

þeodcyninga, þrym gefrunon, hu ða æþelingas ellen fremedon. Oft Scyld Scefing sceaþena þreatum, monegum mægþum, meodosetla ofteah, egsode eorlas. Syððan ærest wearð feasceaft funden, he þæs frofre gebad, weox under wolcnum, weorðmyndum þah, oðþæt him æghwylc þara ymbsittendra ofer hronrade hyran scolde, gomban gyldan.

More Cradle changes...[edit]

Again dude, you are changing the genre of Cradle of Filth albums. Do not do this, lest you be banned. A lot of discussion has gone into this, and we are not going to let someone who thinks that he knows what they are swoop in and just change it to his liking. How you can even change Nymphetamine and Damnation to BM is beyond me, but I am asking you to stop and leave the genre as it is. This is the second I have had to ask you, and if you persist, I will have you banned. If you disagree with the genre, please mention it at the relevant discussion, rather then mindlessly changing their genre relentlessly. At least reply to the messages if you think it should be Black Metal, as opposed to just ignoring them. Thanks - The Haunted Angel 09:37, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

THINK![edit]

Okay, so first Dani was writing lyrics in Old English, and now the whole band are wearing medieval costumes on the Cruelty sleeve... He wasn't. They're not. Cardinal Wurzel 09:58, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. However, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again. --Drat (Talk) 09:18, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't be ignorant![edit]

Please do not change the Cradle of Filth Genre on any of their albums without first Discussing it!!. A lot of work has gone into this, and if you continue to change the Cradle of Filth genre as you have been doing for so long, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Consider this your warning and please respond when messages are placed on your talk page, so we can at least talk out this dispute. Thanks ≈ The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 00:12, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't be Ignorant, part 2...[edit]

Please stop changing Cradle's genre. Seriously, I will revert any and every such edit you make unless you discuss it properly on the main talk page. ≈ The Haunted Angel 00:45, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

May 2010[edit]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did to Thornography, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. magnius (talk) 00:28, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

THINK! again[edit]

Cruelty and the Beast was "the last album to feature a heavily symphonic sound"? Despite, for example, Damnation and a Day having a hundred-piece symphony orchestra on it? Cardinal Wurzel (talk) 10:33, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Three Stooges Quotes[edit]

Hi. I have noticed the quotes you have added to many of the articles for Three Stooges films. While the more memorable quotes are fine, there are far too many quotes that do not add to the article. In particular are quotes from routines that are more visual in nature. Please choose the quote additions more carefully and do not overdo it. Your contributed article, Dark requiems...[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Dark requiems.... First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Dark Requiems.... Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Dark Requiems... - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. demize (t · c) 20:54, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to From Afar, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits. Thank you. Backtable Speak to meconcerning my deeds. 18:27, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from changing genre formats, as you did to 01011001, without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes and genre format changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Backtable Speak to meconcerning my deeds. 00:53, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Till fjälls: Del II has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable bandcamp album

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
