Speedy deletion nomination of Ejaj Ahmad
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ejaj Ahmad requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Please help me with removing the Speedy Deletion title for the page that I'm currently editing. Here's the link to the page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ejaj_Ahmad I mistakenly published the page without finishing the entire article. I'm currently editing it, with citations.

- I've moved the page to Draft:Ejaj Ahmad where you can work on it without worrying it will be deleted. The page can then be submitted through the Articles for Creation process for review. Nick (talk) 09:45, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- The article Ejaj Ahmad has been deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, for two reasons. It was largely if not entirely copied from other sources, infringing copyright, and it was unambiguously promotional. A Wikipedia article needs to be written from a neutral point of view, and there is no place for telling us that somebody "has stood out as a catalyst for change for the greater good and has demonstrated unparalleled leadership at the national or global level" and so on and so on. I see that for some reason you decided not to take the advice above to submit the article as an "article for creation" to be reviewed by an experienced editor. My advice to new editors is that it is best to start by making small improvements to existing articles, rather than creating new articles. That way any mistakes you make will be small ones, and you won't have the discouraging experience of repeatedly seeing hours of work deleted. Gradually, you will get to learn how Wikipedia works, and after a while you will know enough about what is acceptable to be able to write whole new articles without fear that they will be deleted. Over the years I have found that editors who start by making small changes to existing articles and work up from there have a far better chance of having a successful time here than those who jump right into creating new articles from the start. [edit] Thanks for uploading File:Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 15:59, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
