July 2020[edit]

I see you are participating in the WPWP project- please put the #WPWP tag in the edit summary, not in the edit itself. Image alt text and captions shouldn't include hash tags. --Spasemunki (talk) 06:11, 2 July 2020 (UTC) ok thanks. i will do[reply]

Also, please stop writing captions in all capital letters. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 07:02, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Vershavasa moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Vershavasa, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~ Amkgp 💬 11:32, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Eight Consciousnesses[edit]

I removed the image that you added to Eight Consciousnesses- it was an image of one of the Prajnaparamita sutras, which doesn't directly relate to the content. The Eight Consciousnesses aren't defined in that sutra, and it it is not a specifically Yogacara text. If you can find an image of something described in Yogachara#Textual_corpus or Asaṅga one of those might be OK for an illustration. --Spasemunki (talk) 06:34, 7 July 2020 (UTC) Suraj sarvade (talk) 07:32, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

References in articles[edit]

Hi, I'm User:Hog Farm. I've recently tagged an article you created, Forest meditation, as unreferenced. Any statements in articles that are likely to be challenged should be supported by citations to reliable sources. Hog Farm Bacon 04:59, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Forest meditation. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. –DMartin 05:53, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Forest meditation, you may be blocked from editing.  Ganbaruby! (Say hi!) 06:16, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Siri Samanthabhadra Arahath Maha Thero requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
