Voice type[edit]

Hello, I noticed your changes to Voice type - or rather was pointed at them on my talk page - and am not completely happy. While I understand that a division in female and male is not wanted, I understand treble (when used for voices) as how boys sound, while I know many men singing sopranos, and they - as well as women singing soprano - would not like to be classified a childlike treble. Perhaps think it over and try harder? Too bad that high voice vs. low would not work, as high is used for soprano and tenor, and low for (contr)alto and bass. Whatever the meaning, voice types should not be capital. -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:52, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
