RE: you're trying to delete the Zeta Sigma Phi page.

Hello Tamarastern, a nomination for AFD (Articles for deletion) is not an automatic process for an article to get deleted - indeed, many are kept as a result of the discussion that ensues. I nominated this particular article because I felt that the sorority lacked the notability required by the notability guidelines. If the community feels the same, it will be deleted; if not, and the large majority agree with you, the article will be kept, and most likely improved. As for other articles about sororities, I'm not going to go looking for them because I am not in the business of deleting/nominating articles about sororities - my aim is to improve the encyclopedia as a whole. If you feel that there are any articles that may need to be deleted, please feel free to nominate them by following the process at WP:AFD. Please also remember to be civil in your communications. Judge people by their contributions, not who they are or who you speculate them to be. (For all you know, I may be a member of the sorority - although I'm not.) Thank you. -- Tangotango 03:17, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You don't make it a point to delete/nominate articles about sororities... but that's what you did. You made it your business to nominate this article. If you had done any sort of research, you would have known that Zeta Sigma Phi was one of three sororities featured on MTV's sorority life- making it part of a very select group of organizations to be featured on this show. I think that is a notable feat as it is certainly not a status many organizations can claim. Perhaps you could have made an attempt to improve the article- as you claim is your intention- and included the "notable" references that make this sorority worthy of inclusion on wikipedia.
