July 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Geordie. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. Geordie (talk) 23:29, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Craig Ferguson. Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Craig Ferguson was changed by Tanner29429 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.948022 on 2020-07-31T23:35:41+00:00

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 23:35, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce jokes into articles, as you did at Stingray, you may be blocked from editing. Wikipedia is a serious encyclopedia, and contributions of this type are considered vandalism. Gatemansgc (TɅ̊LK) 23:36, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Aoi (青い) (talk) 23:40, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

August 2020[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Anglophone Crisis, you may be blocked from editing. Aoi (青い) (talk) 00:17, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ian.thomson (talk) 00:46, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Your edits consist mostly of a mixture of vandalism ([1], [2], [3], [4]), pseudohistory advocacy ([5], [6]), and a combination that shows awareness that maybe you've been paying attention to the wrong sources. Hell, you called Nigeria a "neutral observer" in the Anglophone Crisis, even though the article says that Nigeria ceded territory relevant to the dispute, has had to deal with spillover of the conflict into Nigeria, that the Nigerian army sold firearms to separatists, and that Cameroonian soldiers were deployed to secure the border with Nigeria to prevent forces from Nigeria from entering the country. I am extremely sorry for my poor behavior on Wikipedia[edit]

Request reason:

I understand the destructive edits I made were unpardonable, and you have every reason to turn down my appeal. First an explanation of the vandalism. I simply did this because of some issues in my personal life that I would prefer not to talk about. I believe I did this to relieve some stress. As for my pseudo history advocacy, while I do not believe in the ancient astronaut theory, I do not consider it to be pseudo history, as it was formulated from at least mainly legitimate methods. Also there is evidence to suggest that the Knights Templar did attempt to search for various items in Israel given their extensive excavation and deep ties to the occult like part of the Roman Catholic Church. As for my false interpretation of the Anglophone Crisis, I was unaware of Nigeria’s apparent involvement in this conflict. While I do not expect you to let me contribute to Wikipedia again I hope this just gives you a better understanding of my motives. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tanner29429 (talkcontribs) 16:03, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Given your history of logged-in and logged-out vandalism, I think we're better off without you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:04, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@Tanner29429: You should use the {{unblock}} template if you want an administrator to review your appeal. You should also read the block appeal guide if you haven't. (I will also note that I don't see many appeals succeed, even when I think they should. Justice is not the goal of the policy; letting the administrators do as little work as possible is. Keeping that in mind may help you make a successful appeal. Alternatively, it may cause you to realize that you don't want to participate in such a system, in which case I guess you won't continue with the appeal.)
To the administrator who reviews the appeal: I will point out only that this user's first edit appears to be a constructive one (in that it matches the format of the article, and has not been reverted in four weeks despite that article seeming to have a lot of reverting going on; I can't easily verify its factual accuracy because it cites no sources), which I think indicates that this user joined with the intention of editing constructively. Please ban me from accessing Wikipedia in any form or fashion[edit]

I’m scared I’m going to snap again and start editing without an account, I beg an administrator to block my IP address from even accessing this site so that I don’t cause any damage.
