Orphaned non-free media (Image:Air Force Association Medal.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Air Force Association Medal.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:44, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit]I am sure the students would be thrilled to see a positive comment on article's talk page. I will reply to your email as soon as I can.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:25, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for the review, but could you post detailed comments on why it was failed on its talk page? Also, my GA experience is that editors get a week to address the objections, and are not failed outright. Talk:Stages of growth model has also been nominated, and has not received a review for two days now, perhaps you could take a look? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 17:29, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

Air Combat Group
[edit]Sorry mate, I must've missed something - what's your reasoning for a date of "2008a" in that reference? Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 17:09, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- It has the date of "2008a" because there are two references that look quite a bit alike, and so to distinguish between the two, the dates are changed. -- Cheers mate! CYCLONICWHIRLWIND talk 17:48, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Mmm... I thought that might be the rationale but wanted to check. Tampering with the date just causes more confusion - a year is a year is a year and there's no such year as 2008a. If the same bloke writes two works in the same year then you distinguish the two by the different titles, simple as that - this should be changed back. Alternatively, if they're articles published on particular days, you could include the full day-month-year dates to further distinguish them. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 23:15, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
