Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Hi. Please check the content of articles before changing any of the content of infoboxes or introductory paragraphs. The cited article content determines the summary content of infoboxes; nothing else does. Please use the edit summary box to describe and justify any changes you make. Thank you Haploidavey (talk) 14:08, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

December 2022

Information icon Hello, I'm Haploidavey. I noticed that you recently removed content from Venus (mythology) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Don't remove text that's supported by reliable sources Haploidavey (talk) 14:19, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Phorcys. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Adakiko (talk) 10:12, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Juno (mythology), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please stop adding material without an adequate edit summary. Please stop adding unsourced content. Please stop capitalising ordinary nouns. Please start reading messages on your talk page. I hope this message is clear enough for you. It's a formal warning. Haploidavey (talk) 08:21, 24 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Minerva. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. NebY (talk) 15:54, 24 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please pay attention to the reasons your edits have been reverted and to the advice you have been given on this page. NebY (talk) 17:16, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalization and edit summaries

[edit]

Hi. I notice that you keep capitalizing words that there's no reason to capitalize. Though the general rules for capitalization go beyond what Wikipedia's manual of style has to say about it, you ought to look at MOS:CAPITALIZATION for some guidance.

Also, your edit summaries ought to be more specific, more informative. "Added things", "changed some things", "wrote a word" aren't very helpful to other editors! See Help:Edit summary for further guidance.

Let me know if you have any questions about these matters. Largoplazo (talk) 20:27, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please take advice and/or respond

[edit]

While you appear to be earnestly working to make improvements to articles, four other editors have so far tried to get your attention about various problems with your edits. In addition, many of your edits have been reverted by editors who've found problems with them. Yet your latest edits show that you seem to be ignoring what has been suggested to you. You have also chosen not to respond.

Continuing in this manner may come to be seen as disruptive editing, as your edits repeatedly occupy the time and attention of other editors, who are aware of your edits because they come up in the other editors' watchlists. Largoplazo (talk) 17:30, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing (see above messages). If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Paul August 17:57, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
