File source problem with File:17th Street Canal breach.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:17th Street Canal breach.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Bonnet Carré Spillway[edit]

Hi. I'm not sure what you were trying to do with your edits to Bonnet Carré Spillway, but the result was to replace existing useful illustrations with a series of links to nothing (no sign that any files of those names had existed here). I reverted your edits. If there was something useful, it is in edit history. Please review the links in the welcome message above. If you have questions about editing Wikipedia and using Wikimedia you can't find an answer to, please feel free to ask. Thanks. Warnings[edit]

Conflict of Interest[edit]

Hello TeamNOLAcoe. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Morganza Spillway, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to you, your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. You likely have a conflict with Bonnet Carré Spillway and other Corps of Engineers topics, too. I like to saw logs! (talk) 05:39, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Page moves[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Morganza Spillway, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
