Indeed. Even though you may have written an excellent essay on early violin history, linking to a copy of it on your commercial page does not give it the same exposure to critical scrutiny and redaction that adding the text directly to the wikipedia article would do. __Just plain Bill (talk) 15:23, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Martin B-26 Marauder.
