Thanks! I've been a bit under the weather the last week, so been playing Stardew Valley rather than trawling Wiki to see what I'm interested in and can help update. :\ Tehinterwebz (talk) 03:23, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Buildkite logo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Buildkite logo.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 05:09, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

done, thank you! Tehinterwebz (talk) 05:31, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@MicrobiologyMarcus:: On Buildkite you tagged it as reading like an advertisement - obviously that wasn't my intention. Can you point me to where it reads like an ad and I'm happy to update please? Still getting to grips with writing and making edits for Wikipedia. (FYI, I used CircleCI as a model). Tehinterwebz (talk) 23:04, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started

[edit]

Hi Tehinterwebz. Thank you for your work on Buildkite. Another editor, North8000, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

On the face of it, IMO this article fails wp:notability. Per the title and lead it is about the product. Most of the article and sources are about the company, not the product. There is very little independent sourcing about the product, and that is reflected in the wording about the product which is mostly uninformative self-written sales jargon. I didn't AFD this because even though I couldn't find GNG sources perhaps the creator should get an extra chance to find and add some as it appears that the product might be widely used? Happy editing!

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|North8000}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

@North8000: responded on the talk page for buildkite but will respond here too - thanks for the feedback and the patience. Is there anything else with the new page review process I should be aware of with the editing? Tehinterwebz (talk) 23:20, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
