[edit]Hello, Sedgeford Hall Portrait still needed some work, but it's very clearly a valid Wikipedia topic and the sourcing met basic standards, so I went ahead and approved it but I left some markers at the top for things that should still be improved. Please take a look and do the little polishing needed. Great idea for an article, definitely a valuable addition! Thanks! MatthewVanitas (talk) 16:08, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
Please check Sedgeford Hall Portrait
[edit]Please check Sedgeford Hall Portrait when you are able. At minimum, the 3rd bullet point re. location of painting has been fixed. Some sources have been added (re. first two bullet points), but it's possible others may be able to improve sourcing further. Thanks, by the way, for approving the article. I was surprised that one didn't exist. Texasstorm (talk) 01:45, 11 March 2016 (UTC) Texasstorm (talk) 01:43, 11 March 2016 (UTC)

Regarding Irene Bedard
[edit]Hi Texasstorm, Thanks for letting me know you changed it. I agree with you completely about wanting Wikipedia articles to be correct, accurate, and true. I am a long-time acquaintance-friend of Irene. I based that on what she told me about 20 years ago. My memory was she told me that they had done a series of sketches of her in various poses to use for building the animated Pocahontas character. After I made the additions to her page, I sent an email to Irene and asked her to review what I had written for accuracy, but she hasn't gotten back to me. I haven't communicated with her in a couple of years, so I don't know for sure if the email address I have is still operational.
I see that you just dropped the information about Irene as the model for the character, without adding anything. Let's just leave it the way you corrected it, at least until we can hear back from Irene. It really isn't an important issue at this point for Irene's page. Thanks for your time.Time River (talk) 20:48, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
