Please don't remove per wp:KDL. Try finding an archive on Wayback Machine. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 11:49, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
- These are not dead links. They are links only to the Al Jazeera live update page. You cannot use an entire news website as your primary source and expect people to read the entire website to possibly or possibly not find what you are referencing. Tfc12345 (talk) 11:52, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
- That is what many websites do when the page is 404, redirects to the home page. This link: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/liveblog/2023/11/7/israel-hamas-war-live-one-month-of-conflict-10000-dead-in-gaza redirects to aljazeera.com. This is the Wayback Machine archive of that page: https://web.archive.org/web/20231107000501/https://www.aljazeera.com/news/liveblog/2023/11/7/israel-hamas-war-live-one-month-of-conflict-10000-dead-in-gaza Please replace with the archive link or add a {{deadlink}} tag. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 11:58, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
- If I add a news item I will do all of that. I did not add these stories, I am simply deleting those without citations actually describing the event in question. Tfc12345 (talk) 12:02, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

- I just noticed that https://www.aljazeera.com/news/liveblog/2023/11/7/israel-hamas-war-live-one-month-of-conflict-10000-dead-in-gaza still works. Why do you think it's 404? Adakiko (talk) 12:00, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
- The links are to the Al Jazeera update page, not to articles. References to these stories cannot be easily found of the citation is to the website home page which does not mention the story summarized here. Tfc12345 (talk) 12:04, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

- KDL applies here. Adakiko (talk) 12:07, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
- No. You need to provide a source which proves the story you are summarizing. You cannot expect people to simply trust you in that the information was on the website at some point. Provide better citations and sources. Tfc12345 (talk) 12:13, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

block

Request reason:
I have been trying to understand how links which do not mention the information given in the current events summary are acceptable. There has been no communication with any administrator about this. It seems that someone is abusing their position in order to post stories which are not supported by their citations. Tfc12345 (talk) 13:50, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
This is not relevant to your block. Yamla (talk) 14:42, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
If the block is not related to items from currents events which do not have supporting citations, then what is it related to? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tfc12345 (talk • contribs)
