...Then remove the prod tag with a reason in your edit summary... (Instructions for that can be found in the 'prod tag) You might also want to check if the article meets WP:WEB, given that that was my concern in tagging the article. Notice that I didn't speedily delete it, indicating that I wanted to give you some time to formulate your response. alphaChimp(talk) 17:43, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Will do. I'll try and see if I can rearrange it a bit too to give the radio station (which is notable) more promience... --tgheretford (talk) 17:53, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Digital Spy forum member userbox

[edit]

Thanks for this. I keep finding userboxes hidden away on people's userspace! - Lee Stanley 01:27, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for joining WikiProject BBC. Yes please do a userbox for the project and could you help me finish the Project Page? Unisouth 08:07, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To late! I have now completed the membership userbox and have done a lot of work on the project page. You can still help me with the page though. Unisouth 10:29, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The project will cover all aspects of the BBC. Nice userpage by the way! Unisouth 10:49, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, though I am getting a little annoyed with all the white space that has been added for some odd reason around all my tables! --tgheretford (talk) 10:56, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Note to yourself: Dont leave messages to someone else on your own talk page! I based my design of my userpage on yours but somehow it doesn't look right! Please help fix it again! Unisouth 12:02, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for cleaning up that arrticle. I was going to have a go at it some point tonight but you beat me to it! - Lee Stanley 21:19, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problems --tgheretford (talk) 21:35, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Make your play

[edit]

Ok you recently 'told me off' for editing Make Your Play page. But although you are partly right, the answers to the puzzles they ask ARE ridiculous and there are NO TIPS unlike they're is in Quizmania. This is not a PoV, it's fact. I admit though adding the thing about the presenters was wrong.

I watch this program every time it's on (i don't call in though) and since it's been on, there has never been a complete 'stack' puzzle. Ever. So you tell me, is it a PoV to say these puzzles have ridiculously hard top answers?

Well either way, i won't edit it anymore. Let people waste their money on this show. --—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 150.204.72.163 (talk) 09:21, 16 October 2006.

To be honest, I agree! If there are concerns that can be address that conform to WP:NPOV and can be verified (WP:VERIFY), please add it. --tgheretford (talk) 08:26, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User page award

[edit]
Wikiwoohoo awards Tghe-retford the Excellent User Page Award for his...excellent user page. Congratulations, you deserve it! Wikiwoohoo 19:26, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tghe-retford. Alright, this isn't the actual user page award you were hoping to get but you certainly deserve something for the great design you've come up with. I am pleased to present you with this Excellent User Page Award. Good luck with your next attempt at the Esperanza User Page Contest. Congratulations! Wikiwoohoo 19:26, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the award. I will try and re-enter the Esperanza User Page award once I have fixed some little bugs with my user pages. --tgheretford (talk) 19:41, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

concordia

[edit]

I don't think they're interested in discussing the future. They were actually discussing putting a historical tag on it in the last talk archive. Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 21:14, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, my views are still that it needs to be discussed. I'll read through the archives again, see if I contact some of the members and see if they are prepared to discuss what to do next. --tgheretford (talk) 21:20, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, discussion is good. If there's a consensus among members to delete, that would probably be better than trying to impose deletion from on high. Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 21:26, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. I have notified the founder of the organisation, Computerjoe that Concordia is up for deletion. --tgheretford (talk) 21:28, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

a message about yob culture that you sent my way

[edit]

I first want to apologize for anything I am doing improperly. I still do not understand how this "talk" system works. After I created the page on yob culture I wanted to delete it because I saw there is already a page that pretty well explains its use as a slang term, so thanks for putting it on deletion track for me. I wasn't sure how the delete process works!

Ashley —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Casiraghitrio (talkcontribs) 17:50, 25 November 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Hi there, no probs regarding its deletion. What you could do is edit the page and create a redirect the page to that other page you mention. It'll help other people in the future. Details on how to create a redirect is here: Wikipedia:Redirect. Just one last thing, sign any discussion on talk pages with four tildes at the end (~~~~) so people know who said what. And finally, as you joined recently, welcome to Wikipedia. --tgheretford (talk) 17:59, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Inter-wiki links?

[edit]

Hi there! I am lost on whomelse to ask so here goes. Do you know how to make links to other wikipedia pages of other languages? I want to put a "See also" section on an article I just posted on Gråsten Palace because German wikipedia has a good page too. Is this possible? Do you do it simply by making an external link or is there a special format? Thanks! --Ashley Rovira 15:52, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I found the page you need which tells you how to make the link, which is here: Wikipedia:Interlanguage links. You'll need to know the title for the Gråsten Palace article in German Wikipedia and the two language code you need is de. The link will appear below the toolbox on the left hand side of the page. You may wish to add a link in the German article back to the English article. Regards. --tgheretford (talk) 15:59, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Attack

[edit]

Can I just make it clear that what I said on the discussion page on Quiz channels was not a personal attack. I clearly said how "rude" you were and that you labelled the quiz show "I'm In It To Win It" as a hoax when it is a verifible show. I just felt that it should not have been removed straight away as I could and did provide a source for the information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.108.137.205 (talk) 20:03, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
