Thanks for removing the pic of Hugh F-W from this article. It's irrelevant, as you say, but also not Fair-Use in the article and therefore deletable on sight. It can only be used in an article about Hugh himself. Keep up the good work! --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 17:17, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Hi

Hi Baroness
[edit]My name is Christina Schmitt and I work for Minnesota Public Radio's 89.3 The Current. We recently hosted a three-day live broadcast from the SXSW 2008 festival. We have great video clips from these performaces. Earlier this week, I placed links to the video on the bands Wikipedia pages...only to discover you removed them all and labeled them "Spam." Why? If I'm violating some Wikipedia convention, please let me know. I appreciate the feedback. Christina Schmitt —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cschmitt (talk • contribs) 19:22, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hello, yes I removed (most of) them because—following WP:Spam#External_link_spamming—it did indeed look like spam, the way that links to the same website had been added to several articles one after the other. Of course, if you do not believe it to be spam, then feel free to undo my undoing. The Baroness of Morden (talk) 20:13, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
You're welcome!
[edit]Baroness, you are welcome for the welcome---that is a strangely-constructed statement, and I am not sure it is grammatically correct, but you get the meaning, yes? I hope you enjoy being a Wikipedian. If there is ever anything I can do to be of assistance, please let me know. Cheers! ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 22:56, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly
[edit]Hello, just to clarify my revert on this article: the four edits prior to yours were vandalism from an anonymous IP. I was in the process of going back through the history of the article to find the last unvandalized version when you made your changes. My comment of 'revert vandalism' related purely to the edits before yours, and I wasn't aware of your changes when I reverted to the older version. When you undid my revert, you also reinstated the vandalism. I've gone back and removed the vandalism while leaving your edits intact, so hopefully everything is sorted out now. Thanks.--Michig (talk) 21:22, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hello. Yes, sorry about the misunderstanding. It took me a while to realise what exactly had happened, but then I realised how obtuse I was being to not recognise it for vandalism, especially since it didn't make sense. If that makes sense...! Silent Disco
[edit]Silent Disco is a registered Trademark (http://www.ipo.gov.uk/t-find-number?detailsrequested=C&trademark=E4215463). The other external links are being included by a commercial organisation seeking to exploit the name and reputation of this established trademark. Consequently, until I receive a final decision from Wikipedia admin who are aware of this trademark breach, I would suggest that the user who continually adds in the alternative external link reads Wikipedia's Community Standards and pays special attention to sections detailing the improper use of the resource for commercial gain.

Question
[edit]Hello The Baroness of Morden, I noticed that you doing a lot of vandalism-reverting. Would you like me to grant your account rollback rights to make vandal-reverting easier for you? Acalamari 22:55, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hello there. Thank you for the message, and for offering this to me. I am perhaps a bit wary of the rollback feature but, after reading the article, I think it would be useful for undoing blatant vandalism. Thank you! The Baroness of Morden (talk) 07:36, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Rollback granted. :) Apologies for the late reply; I've only just seen your response. Anyway, just remember that rollback is only for reverting vandalism, and not for reverting good-faith edits or for use in revert-wars. For practice with rollback, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 16:03, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Many thank for your tidy up there. BIPP was the first page I constructed when I started at WP back in February and didn't know what the standard paragraph headings were, but never got round to dropping back there and correcting it myself. Actually I feel guilty about that entry, I spent three weeks researching all the info but didn't think to note all the reference URLs down. To go back and re-research it to properly reference the article is such a bogglingly huge task, every time I consider it I have a cup of coffee....then umm...find something else to do. I will get there one day. Anyway, I appreciate your efforts 21stCenturyGreenstuff (talk) 13:07, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hello. You are welcome of course. Thank you for the message. Maybe you'd like some help with researching the article? The Baroness of Morden (talk) 07:38, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Tip-off
[edit]Hello, I stumbled across your user page, and was quite amused by your witty self-portrait and your very British style of writing! (which I happen not to do, but enjoy!) So I think you might eventually be inclined to correct the word "posess" ("... as she does not posess significant knowledge of any subject..."). Best regards, --Catgut (talk) 00:32, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit]You are incredibly pretentious, "Baroness of Morden". Nobody who matters will ever have anything but contempt for you, unless they're trying to get into your pants, in which case the contempt will just be hidden. Stop writing about yourself in the third person. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.223.168.121 (talk) 15:38, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 27
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Blind Boys of Alabama, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lost (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
