Protection templates
[edit]Please note that protection templates don't actually protect the article (only an administrator can protect or unprotect a page) -- we're removing the template because the article is not currently protected. – Luna Santin (talk) 06:18, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
- Happens fairly often. :) You can always request protection at the admin noticeboard or at requests for page protection, of course. Not sure if it'd be granted, but if things pick up again, like they did earlier, I bet it'll happen either way. – Luna Santin (talk) 06:30, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
your edit to Virginia Tech massacre
[edit]This is what is known in the wiki biz as a "misleading edit summary", namely making content additions and removal with clear POV under a summary stating you are making an administrative edit. Don't do it. - BanyanTree 07:10, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:Max baldry.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Max baldry.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. —Angr 19:04, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
DoND edit
[edit]You said to me:
Hi, thanks for your edit to Deal or no Deal UK, however this show has not happened yet, and the £35,000 does not belong in the 1p section. Thus, assumed vandalism. This accounts for your first warning. cheers Thenthornthing
Firstly, this makes no sense, and secondly the only thing I can think this relates to is me adding Lucy Barnes to the list of people who are going to be shown on the classic shows soon. This has no relevance to a 1p section. Explain please. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.129.90.9 (talk • contribs) 21st April 2007.

[edit]Hi yes, i do apologise, it was entirely my mistake. I was reverting vandalism last night, and i think my eyes went a bit funny, and aassumed vandalism : sorry and thanks for pointing this out. Thenthornthing 15:34, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
About my comment...
[edit]Did you know... THANKS for deleting my comment. That makes it 5 more edits for me, one putting it back, the others leaving this comment. Aran|heru|nar 08:47, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
Okay, honestly, I don't mind you deleting my comment, but here's some advice: Don't delete comments that don't belong to you on talk pages. Not everyone might like that. Aran|heru|nar 08:50, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- Wait a moment, dude. You forgot to thank me. You just gained 3 more edits because of me, bro! No, actually, that would be 3 and 1/3 , because you change the edit count on your user page every 10 edits. Aran|heru|nar 11:28, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
