Fluoride

[edit]

Fluoride is a very large topic. Many major applications and many fundamental chemical principles. Readers come to this article to find out facts, not speculations or future possibilities. If fluoride-based batteries are a substantial area, you are encouraged to write an article on this topic. Just go to Fluoride battery and paste in your content. --Smokefoot (talk) 14:18, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for the suggestions. Actually, I do not know how to make new article on Wikipedia. I tried several times to make new article, but the articles were deleted. If you could make the new article for Fluoride battery, I will update it. Thousandtalent (talk) 14:22, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, you wrote "this fluoride battery business is hype and undue, it deludes readers". I do not agree it. Where do you think "hype", "undue" and "it deludes readers". Please explain the points. Thousandtalent (talk) 14:26, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, you wrote "fluoride battery is specialized and hyped, this article is for normal readers seeking facts". I wrote only the facts. They are not hypes. Thousandtalent (talk) 14:32, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You deleted all sentence about Fluoride battery. I think that's not polite for editors. The sentences are not hype and undue. Before delete the all sentence, you should suggest revised points in the sentences. Thousandtalent (talk) 14:45, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you do not reply to my comment or make the "Fluoride Battery" article on Wikipedia, I will undo your revision. Please accept the revision. Thousandtalent (talk) 14:57, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

F-ion battery

[edit]

Please edit F-ion battery.

Other comments:

  • try to think about how many publications appear every day on the topic of "fluoride". For this reason, fluoride really focuses on big stuff, not research.
  • please do not refer to people or institutions (e.g. KIT), Just facts.

--Smokefoot (talk) 16:30, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for creating F-ion battery! I will edit it.
By the way, I have to point out that you wrote about "Li-ion battery" using metal fluoride as active material in the article of F-ion battery. That is "Li-ion battery" and completely different from "fluoride ion battery" or "fluoride shuttle battery". Thousandtalent (talk) 16:43, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
please do not refer to people or institutions (e.g. KIT)
=> I do not agree with that. Please see Lithium-ion battery article. There are a lot of people and organization names. That must be acceptable. Thousandtalent (talk) 16:47, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I will remove those names for the most part. See WP:PEACOCK. But Wiki articles do usually mention Nobel Prize winners and discoverers of major breakthroughs.
  • do not refer to yourself or your friends. We call that WP:COI. Rather strict rule but most people understand that it would be bad taste to do that!
  • Focus on WP:SECONDARY, reviews and such.
  • Wikipedia has little interest in cutting edge results. WP:NOTNEWS.

Hello, seeing this I suggest you to have a look at the difference between an internal and an external link. Jaqen (talk) 16:27, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
