[edit]Hello Thrilltek. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Illuvium (video game), gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Thrilltek. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose ā e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Thrilltek|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken ā you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits ā please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Jeraxmoiraš (talk) 21:08, 24 February 2024 (UTC)
- I am not being paid, I am not an employee or compensated for this work. The sole reason for the creation of this entry from my end is to have the game added to the Youtube database, which from research says to make sure it has a "video game" page in wikipedia and have the company have schema for Video Game on their website. They claim they tried to get in game included in youtube database and failed, so I help by researching topic and created this starting point draft Thrilltek (talk) 07:40, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- Thrilltek: Would you like to share where they have claimed to get the game included in Youtube database and failed? FWIW, the game does not seem notable after a WP:BEFORE search. Jeraxmoiraš (talk) 09:01, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- Not notable? Wow, didnt think WIkipedia had bias people controlling the world of things they do not like...I have included a picture of the Discord where team has stated they have failed to get in Youtube per your request.
- Is this you? Could explain a lot... Seeing Team Liquid has partnered with Illuvium in the Esports world.

- JerAx leaves Team LiquidĀ : r/DotA2
- im a good RTS player but not a great dota player, they have some mechanical similarities but beyond that the goal and how you achieve that goal....

- Thrilltek: I am just a volunteer here. You would need at least three reliable, independent sources with significant coverage to have an article about Draft:Illuvium (video game) on Wikipedia. Please review WP:GNG. Jeraxmoiraš (talk) 16:05, 25 February 2024 (UTC)

- Please see WP:Notability_(cryptocurrencies). Notability guidelines for cryptocurrency projects require significant coverage by sources that are secondary, reliable, unaffiliated, and mainstream (i.e. not cryptocurrency-centric sources). Please also note the warnings about conflict of interest. Failure to disclose a direct financial stake in a subject, such as the one suggested by this website, is against Wikipedia policies and may result in editing privileges being revoked. Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Izno (talk) 20:00, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- stop your bs user swapping and inbred protection games, i spent 15 years on IRC, i know what goes on in power controlled scenarios. Your editors have attacked me, have accused me of being paid to complete an entry and when I complied to all their requests, they bounced me to another editor to start the same process over, discrediting everything being done... Making up more bs along the way... Basically telling me, the world is ficticious if its not seen in your eyes.. If you have not noticed, i dont give a fuck about you, wikipedia, and 100% know for a fact now, you are a completely useless and corrupt medium, trying to control the worlds future.. Have a nice life, you are losing the game of control bad

- Please do not add content or create pages that exist solely to attack, threaten, or disparage their subject. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Thrilltek. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest Ā§Ā How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam Ā§Ā External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. [1] Ertal72 (talk) 17:49, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- i have no relationship other than I play the game. As for the content of this entry... There is nothing financial or commercial in this entry, just facts.
- I just started the entry as its a requirement for Youtube to add the project to their database.
- You can completely rewrite it as you have access and the material provided, which aint hard these days, use the links and get some free access to AI.
- It appears the only COI going on here is the keen desire by volunteers to not have this project added to Wikipedia... after seeing scores of acute data verifying the project is real Thrilltek (talk) 17:59, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
Source analysis
[edit]Though this may not be accurate, I hope you understand the problems with the sources you have shared.
Jeraxmoiraš (talk) 18:55, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- This is just from taking a glance. I'm sure many other problems will turn up if someone does an in-depth source analysis. Jeraxmoiraš (talk) 18:56, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- exactly you glanced and did no work, but went out of your way to put the kybosh on it... bias and attack was clearly seen Thrilltek (talk) 19:06, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- the only thing that is not credible is you. and learned from just one of your sentences 75.63.2.187 (talk) 19:14, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- Sure, feel free to resubmit your article. Another reviewer will take a look at it. Good luck and happy editing! Jeraxmoiraš (talk) 19:15, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
